Reading is Good for the Brain - Vineyard Summer Reading Program

May 26^th – Aug. 22^nd

ENROLLMENT: Enrollment consists of the Purchase of the 1^st book and the Request to be enrolled into the program. Each participant will receive a complimentary bookmark at the time of their first purchase. Each participant may cash in their YELLOW COMPLIMENTARY DRINK /DISCOUNT COUPON at this time.

Each time you purchase a new book from the Vineyard, be sure that the Name of the Book along with the initials of the employee who serves you is recorded on your bookmark, so that you will be eligible for special gift prizes. . Participants qualify for an additional award following the purchase of the 4^th book, with the GRAND PRIZE being awarded after the completion of the 8^th book. Be sure to bring along your bookmark every time you come in..

BOOK LIST: Participants in the Summer Reading Program may select from any book in the store – INCLUDING the “Half Price Used Book Exchange,” and may special order any of the books in our Summer Sale Catalog at the special sale prices thru June 27.

RULES: SIX of the EIGHT books listed on your bookmark must be

purchased from the Vineyard in order for the participant to qualify for the GRAND PRIZE.. The same book may be read and initialed for members of the same family.

PRIZES: Following the initialing of the 4^th space on your bookmark, participants are allowed to select a Special Prize from a Special Gift Box of Prizes, on display at the Vineyard. A store employee will star - punch your Bookmark after you have selected your prize. Four additional books will qualify each participant to select THE GRAND PRIZE, WHICH IS TO RECEIVE A FULL 50% DISCOUNT OFF on YOUR CHOICE OF ANY BOOK (even special orders??). (I vote – Yes!)

CHILDREN UNDER READING AGE may also participate in the Summer Reading Program, by having an adult read to them. Again, the Book List includes all those available thru the catalog, in addition to all those already at the Vineyard. Special “Read to Me” story-times will be held at the Vineyard on Thursday Mornings at 11:00 a.m. Books presented during this time may also be recorded on a bookmark, with prizes available after the 4^th and 8^th entries. However six book purchases are still necessary to qualify for a GRAND PRIZE selection.
